Real Arceus looks decently majestic but has a dumb fence around its body and doesn't look like a deity. This art basically combines the best of both worlds. Good job.
Considering a good sprite takes around a day to make by an experienced creator, and considering that it's just a simple image that won't require testing on the processing power of the DS or anything if it's changed, I wouldn't be surprised if they saved implementing the sprites until the very end of production, possibly weeks before shipping the game, and just had dumb, .
I just mostly picked the Pokemon that looked most similar to the beta designs. beta arceus honestly, if this was what Arceus actually looked like, it’d be absolutely terrifying, it looks like Milcery, deoxys and rapidash had a hellspawn that spends its free time chasing children down long dark hallways 10/10
